PRODUCTS
We design and manufacture the necessary accessories for Hot-Tapping and Linestopping services, which are installed on all types of lines. Each product comes with its corresponding certificates. Quality control is performed according to customer specifications and current regulations.
Hot-Tap fittings without machined flange
Hot-Tap fittings without machined flange are supplied with a welding neck RF flange of class 150, 300, 600 and 900 – according to ANSI standard.

Linestop fittings with threaded plugs can be manufactured with various reinforcements: flat bottom, scarfed, weldolet, or pad.
Linestop fitting with completion plug (distribution)
Linestop fittings with completion plugs are supplied with a mechanized flange, bolts, nuts, a blind flange, an O-ring, and their internal completion plug.
Three-way tee with threaded plug (distribution)
These fittings are available in sizes up to 4″.

Specific Fittings for the French Market
Fittings specified as “Marché France” are specially designed and approved for the French gas distribution market.
STP Fittings
STP plugs and fittings allow the elimination of bolts that pass through the flange body. This eliminates potential leak points in the flange and increases operational safety.
EQUIPMENT
We design and manufacture the equipment necessary to perform Hot-tapping and Linestopping work on all types of pipelines. This includes tapping machines, hydraulic Linestop cylinders, slim valves, Linestop heads, hydraulic power units, housings, adapters, and all the necessary tools to carry out any pipeline work under pressure.
Hot Tapping Machines
TBL-102TH / TBL-182TH /TBL-242TH
/ TBL-302TH / TBL-302HP
They are available with four different travel rates: 10″ for TBL-102TH, 18″ for TBL-182TH, 24″ for TBL-242TH, and 30″ for TBL-302TH and TBL-302HP.
The machines are supplied with an operation and maintenance manual, a handwheel, and an optional pneumatic gun.
TBL-0322
The TBL-0322 Hot-Tap machine is used for drilling from 1″ to 6″ and installing autoblock plugs or similar components.
The TBL-0322 machine is supplied with a transport frame, pneumatic motor, regulating valve and filter, and an operation and maintenance manual.
TBL-0444 / TBL-0364
The TBL-0364 and TBL-0444 Hot-Tap machines are used for drilling from 4″ to 14″ and installing autoblock plugs or similar components.
The TBL-0364 and TBL-0444 machines are supplied with a transport frame, pneumatic motor, regulating valve and filter, and an operation and maintenance manual.
TBL-0664
The TBL-0664 Hot-Tap machines are used for drilling from 3″ to 20″ and installing autoblock plugs or similar components.
The TBL-0664 machine is supplied with a transport frame, pneumatic motor, regulating valve and filter, and an operation and maintenance manual.
TBL-1106 / TBL-1206
The TBL-1106 and TBL-1206 Hot-Tap machines are used for drilling from 12″ to 42″ and installing autoblock plugs or similar components.
The TBL-1106 and TBL-1206 drilling machines are supplied with a detachable transport frame, hydraulic motor, purge and vent valve, and an operation and maintenance manual.
MANUAL CYLINDERS
The TBL-MPT and TBL-MO0612 manual cylinders are lightweight and durable machines that allow Linestopping low-pressure lines up to 12″ and 34 bar.
These machines feature a robust and simple design, including operation via a hand crank.
Furthermore, the TBL-MPT cylinder allows the installation of completion-type plugs.
HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS
TECPESA TBL-ACT Linestop cylinders are used in high-pressure and large-diameter applications where manual cylinders have limited operating ranges.
These hydraulic cylinders feature a shaft with marked extension measurements in inches, which can be monitored via a sight glass.
The cylinder must be installed on the appropriate Linestop housing and Linestop head for the required pipe diameter and thickness.
The equipment is hydraulically operated, with the cylinder having its own hydraulic quick-connections and being controlled by an actuator located on its bottom.
COLVI VALVE
New 2” NPT 600# full bore lubricated bidirectional valve.
The COLVI valve can be operated with differential pressure, therefore a pressure balancing system is not required.
Designed according to API 599.
Maximum operating conditions are 84 bar (1220 psi) for class 600#.
SLIM VALVE CLASS 150 & CLASS 300/600
TECPESA “SLIM” VALVES are designed for use with TECPESA Hot-Tap and Linestop fittings and equipment. These “Slim” valves are bidirectional and can be installed in the fitting in either direction (parallel or perpendicular to the pipe).
These valves are equipped with an internal bypass for pressure balancing.
Class 150# “SLIM” VALVES are used for low pressure applications and are full-bore temporary valves.
These valves are manually operated and include a hand crank for easy handling.
Class 300# and 600# “SLIM” VALVES are available in sizes from 4” to 36”, and in larger diameters upon request.
The “SLIM” CLASS 300# and 600# valves, starting at 24” in diameter, are opened and closed hydraulically. All are equipped with an internal pressure balancing system.
Maximum operating pressures are 51 bar (740 psi) for Class 300# and 84 bar (1220 psi) for Class 600#.

In this regard, since the last quarter of 2017, Tecpesa has established a new department under the General Operations Management to work hand in hand with the technical departments of our end customers.
